Heritage Festival

Last weekend, we attended our town's heritage festival. There was a log cabin with people recreating a typical 19th century day, making soap, candles, dying and spinning yarn, cooking over the fire, etc. Logan had a great time. Here are some more memorable moments:

  • Dancing by the gazebo to the traditional Irish singer
  • Screaming at the top of his lungs and pointing to the pony, and saying "DOG!!"
  • Calling the baby alpacas dogs, as well
  • Joining in the Nokomis Native American Welcome dance ceremony, even though he wanted to walk in the opposite way
  • Watching one of the heritage volunteers spin yarn
  • Wiping down his own stroller tray like a big boy, all by himself
